A Representative from New Jersey. Born in Bayonne, Hudson County, N. J. , September 8, 1928. Graduated from Bayonne High School, Bayonne, N. J. Attended St. Peter's Institute of Industrial Relations, 1953-1955. Real Estate Institute of New Jersey, 1957. New Jersey National Guard, 1947-1952. Business owner. Member of the Bayonne, N. J. , city council, 1962-1970. Member of the Bayonne, N. J. , board of school estimate, 1964-1967. Member of the New Jersey state general assembly, 1969-1976. Delegate to the New Jersey state Democratic convention, 1975. Delegate to the Democratic National Convention, 1975. Elected as a Democrat to the Ninety-fifth Congress, serving until his resignation December 14, 1978 (January 3, 1977-December 14, 1978). Unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the United States Senate in 1982. Died on February 26, 1997, in Manhattan, N. Y. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery, Linden, N. Y.
