Biography
A Representative from Kansas. Born in Detroit, Wayne County, Mich. , June 1, 1925. Attended the public schools. Graduated, Cranbrook Academy, Bloomfield Hills, 1943. Attended Michigan State University, Lansing, 1947. Served in United States Army Air Corps, 1943-1945. Investment counselor, corporate director, 1956-1979. Delegate to Kansas State Republican convention, 1978. Elected as a Republican to the Ninety-sixth and to the Ninety-seventh Congresses (January 3, 1979-January 3, 1983). Was not a candidate for reelection in 1982 to the Ninety-eighth Congress. Died on August 22, 1997, in Tucson, Ariz.
