Attended Santa Monica Technical School, 1955-1957. Attended Santa Monica City College, 1955-1959. Businesswoman. Member, Los Angeles (City) Board of Education, 1977-1980. Delegate, California State Republican conventions, 1977-1987. Delegate, Republican National Convention, 1980 and 1984. Elected as a Republican to the Ninety-seventh and to the two succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1981-January 3, 1987). Was not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundredth Congress in 1986, but was an unsuccessful candidate for the Republican nomination to the United States Senate. Died on March 3, 2019, in Northridge, Calif. Interment at Groman Eden, Mission Hills, Calif.
