Summary

PILT Reauthorization Act of 2019

This bill extends the payment in lieu of taxes program through FY2029. "Payments in Lieu of Taxes" (PILT) are federal payments to local governments that help offset losses in property taxes due to the existence of nontaxable federal lands within their boundaries
