To direct the Secretary of Defense to modify the Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD Form 214) to be machine readable and electronically transferable.
This bill provides that the Department of Defense shall make the Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (also known as DD Form 214 or Report of Separation) machine readable and electronically transferable.
