This bill designates the River Terrace Area of the Anacostia Park in the District of Columbia as the "Illinois' Bicentennial Grove."
The Department of the Interior shall furnish and place a plaque near the trees planted in the Illinois' Bicentennial Grove in recognition of the trees as a tribute to the bicentennial of the State of Illinois and to Edward Coles, Mary Brown Davis, and Elijah and Owen Lovejoy, who were prominent abolitionists from Illinois.
