Preserving Access to Medicaid for Americans Act of 2016
This bill amends titles XIX (Medicaid) and XXI (Children's Health Insurance Program) (CHIP) of the Social Security Act to eliminate: (1) certain Medicaid payment reductions with respect to states that did not implement Medicaid expansion under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and (2) specified maintenance of effort requirements with respect to CHIP.
