A bill to require States and Indian tribes to designate specific highway routes for the transportation of hazardous materials and the long-distance transportation of solid waste.

Subjects 5-axle single-trailer trucks transporting solid waste for at least 200 miles on the National Highway System to federal highway routing of hazardous materials requirements. Requires states and Indian tribes to designate specific highway routes over which solid waste may be transported. Requires the Secretary of Transportation to prescribe standards for states and Indian tribes to carry out such requirements.
