A bill to amend title XIX of the Social Security Act to delay the effective date of the amendments made by the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 requiring documentation evidencing citizenship or nationality as a condition for receipt of medical assistance under the Medicaid program.

Amends the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 to delay from July 1, 2006, until January 31, 2007, the effective date of the amendments made by such Act requiring documentation evidencing citizenship or nationality as a condition for receipt of medical assistance under title XIX (Medicaid) of the Social Security Act.
