A bill to require the Commandant of the Coast Guard to convey the United States Coast Guard Cutter BRAMBLE, upon its decommissioning, to the Port Huron Museum of Arts and History, Port Huron, Michigan, for use for education and historical display, and for other purposes.
Directs the Commandant of the Coast Guard, upon the decommissioning of the Coast Guard Cutter Bramble, to convey all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to such vessel to the Port Huron Museum of Arts and History (the recipient), Port Huron, Michigan, if the recipient meets specified conditions. Includes among such conditions that it: (1) use the vessel for purposes of education and historical display; and (2) hold the Government harmless for claims arising from exposure to asbestos and other hazardous materials after the conveyance.
