To authorize the disinterment from the Lorraine American Cemetery in St. Avold, France, of the remains of Private First Class Alfred J. Laitres, of Island Pond, Vermont, who died in combat in France on December 25, 1944, and to authorize the transfer of his remains to the custody of his next of kin.
Directs the Secretary of the Army and the American Battle Monuments Commission to authorize: (1) the next of kin of the late Alfred J. Laitres to disinter his remains from the Lorraine American Cemetery in St. Avold, France; and (2) the transfer of custody of such remains to such next of kin. Prohibits the use of Federal funds for such disinterment and transfer.
