A bill to allow the psychiatric or psychological examinations required under chapter 313 of title 18, United States Code, relating to offenders with mental disease or defect, to be conducted by a clinical social worker.
Amends the Federal criminal code to allow the psychiatric or psychological examinations required under chapter 313 (determination of mental capacity to stand trial and determination of the existence of insanity at the time of the offense) to be conducted by clinical social workers.
