National Cyber Security Defense Team Authorization Act - Authorizes the Special Advisor to the President for Cyberspace Security to establish the National Cyber Security Defense Team to: (1) identify segments of the Internet infrastructure that are vulnerable to terrorist attack; and (2) recommend to Federal, State, and local government agencies and private entities means of eliminating such vulnerabilities. Subjects the Team to the direction and control of the President, acting through the National Security Council.
States that the Team shall consist of representatives of the Departments of the Treasury, State, Justice, Defense, and Commerce, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency, and any other Federal department or agency that the Special Advisor deems appropriate.
Authorizes appropriations for FY 2003.
