Expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that: (1) Israel and the Palestinian Authority should fully commit themselves to end hostilities and work toward a permanent peace agreement; and (2) failing an immediate cessation of hostilities, and a stall in mediation efforts, the United Nations (UN) should meet to address the situation in Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip, and should authorize the UN Secretary-General to take appropriate steps to bring an end to the conflict, including, if necessary, the use of UN peacekeeping forces.
