To authorize the appropriation of $1,000,000 for a contribution to the World Intellectual Property Organization for projects intended to promote the integration of developing countries into the global intellectual property system.
Authorizes to be appropriated to the President $1 million for a voluntary U.S.contribution to the World Intellectual Property Organization for U.S.-directed projects to promote the integration of developing countries into the global intellectual property system by assisting them in developing sustainable legislative business and legal practices and protocols to carry out the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights that promote economic growth and development through knowledge-based industries.
