Wyoming - Session 2026
Title: Subleasing of state lands-exemptions.
This bill would require lessees of state grazing land to give notice to the Office of State Lands and Investments of the presence of livestock not owned by the lessee on the leased land. Lessees grazing non-owned livestock on leased state land would be required to pay a monthly fee per head of non-owned livestock. Subleases and non-owned livestock fees would not be required if the common ownership of the entities holding the state grazing lease and owning the livestock is not less than 80%.
