Title: SNAP benefits-waiver request.

Summary

This bill would require the director of the Department of Family Services to request a waiver from the United States Department of Agriculture that would exclude accessory foods from the definition of eligible foods under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The bill would require the director to repeat the request for a waiver on an annual basis. The bill also provides a definition of "accessory food".
