Summary

Amending death certificates; petitions to the court to amend; service upon State Registrar of Vital Records. Removes the requirement that a copy of a petition to a circuit court to amend a death certificate be served upon the State Registrar of Vital Records (State Registrar). The provisions of the bill do not apply to petitions filed by an aggrieved applicant after the State Registrar finds reason to question the validity or sufficiency of the evidence presented to the State Registrar for such amendment.
