Title: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 43, Chapter 8, relative to pesticides.
ON APRIL 3, 2025, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 527, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 revises the exemption provision in the bill to, instead, provide that the bill does not apply if a determination has been made by the EPA that a manufacturer knowingly withheld, concealed, misrepresented, or destroyed material information regarding the human health risks of such pesticide in order to obtain or maintain approval of its label by the EPA.
