AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 70, Chapter 9, relative to off-highway vehicles.
ON APRIL 15, 2026, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 2713, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 r ewrites this bill to establish a statutory schedule of permit fees for the operation of off highway vehicles (OHV) at North Cumberland WMA, as follows: (1) The fee for a rider permit will range from $20.00 for a one-day resident permit to $300 for a nonresident annual permit; (2) The fee for a sportsman supplemental permit will be $40.00 annually. The supplemental permit is available only to persons who have an annual or lifetime sportsman license; and (3) The fee for a guide permit is $700 annually. This amendment authorizes the fish and wildlife commission to adjust the permit fees by rule; provided, that any increase in the fees will not be effective until July 1, 2030.
