Title: AN ACT to amend Chapter 262 of the Private Acts of 1963; as amended by Chapter 313 of the Private Acts of 1982; and any other acts amendatory thereto, relative to Lauderdale County.
ON APRIL 21, 2025, THE HOUSE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 1423, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 requires the c ounty c ommission of Lauderdale County to take such steps as necessary and appropriate for the orderly relocation (instead of the " immediate and orderly relocation "") of the p r obate and j uvenile c ourt of Lauderdale County to the j ustice c omplex ."
