Present law prohibits a family member, including a spouse, child or children, father or mother, niece or nephew by blood or marriage, son-in-law or daughter-in-law, from being employed by a distillery, wholesale dealer , or retail dealer, and from hold ing or hav ing issued to them a n alcoholic beverage license in this state. This bill revises this provision to clarify that the prohibition is placed on family members of a voting member of the alcoholic beverage commission.
