Title: AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 68, Chapter 105, relative to blasting.
ON MARCH 9, 2026, THE SENATE SUBSTITUTED HOUSE BILL 1138 FOR SENATE BILL 56, ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1, AND PASSED HOUSE BILL 1138, AS AMENDED. AMENDMENT #1 rewrites this bill to set a $50.00 cap on the amount that may be charged for providing the owner or occupant of a dwelling house, public building, school, church, commercial, or institutional building normally occupied within 300 feet of a bl ast hole with a copy of documentation of a pre-blast survey.
