North Carolina - Session 2025
Title: Grant Our Kids Care Act.
Appropriates $30,000,000 for each year of the 2025-2027 biennium from the General Fund to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Child Development and Early Education (Division) to establish a two-year pilot program for grants to child care providers who are employed providing direct care to assist in recruiting and retaining more employees to expand the supply of licensed child care. Defines child care provider to include lead teachers, teachers, teacher assistants, and administrators.
