AN ACT TO CREATE THE MISSISSIPPI OFFICE OF APPRENTICESHIP ACT; TO DEFINE TERMS; TO CREATE THE STATE APPRENTICESHIP AGENCY; TO PROVIDE THAT THE OFFICE SHALL BE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT SECURITY; TO PROVIDE THE PURPOSES OF THE OFFICE; TO REQUIRE THE OFFICE TO PROMULGATE RULES AND REGULATIONS NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THIS ACT; TO PROVIDE THE DUTIES OF THE OFFICE; TO CREATE THE MISSISSIPPI APPRENTICESHIP COUNCIL; TO PROVIDE THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE COUNCIL; TO PROVIDE FOR MEETINGS OF THE COUNCIL; TO PROVIDE DUTIES OF THE COUNCIL; TO PROVIDE LIMITATIONS OF THIS ACT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
