Title: School districts; require boards to adopt policy granting cost-free admission to school-sponsored athletic and extracurricular events.
AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE LOCAL SCHOOL BOARD OF PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICTS TO ADOPT A POLICY TO PROVIDE EMPLOYEES OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT WITH COST-FREE ADMISSION INTO ALL SCHOOL-SPONSORED AND MISSISSIPPI HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION GOVERNED ATHLETIC AND EXTRACURRICULAR EVENTS HOSTED BY THE DISTRICT, TO PROVIDE THAT THE POLICY MAY BE REFLECTED IN THE SCHOOL DISTRICT'S EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT; TO STIPULATE THAT COST-FREE ADMISSION SHALL ONLY BE APPLICABLE TO SCHOOL DISTRICT EMPLOYEES AND NOT TRANSFERRABLE TO THIRD PARTIES; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
