AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 47-7-3, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REVISE PAROLE ELIGIBILITY FOR OFFENDERS CONVICTED OF CERTAIN DRUG TRAFFICKING; TO PROVIDE THAT IF AN OFFENDER WHOSE PETITION FOR PAROLE ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN DENIED BY THE CIRCUIT COURT, THEN SUCH OFFENDER MUST WAIT TWO YEARS BEFORE FILING A SUCCESSIVE PETITION; TO REMOVE THE REPEALER ON THIS SECTION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
