AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE VEHICLE VALUE PROTECTION AGREEMENTS OFFERED IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT; TO PROVIDE THAT A VEHICLE VALUE PROTECTION AGREEMENT IS NOT INSURANCE; TO PROVIDE THAT A MOTOR VEHICLE SALE OR EXTENSION OF CREDIT MAY NOT BE CONDITIONED UPON PURCHASE OF A VEHICLE VALUE PROTECTION AGREEMENT; TO REQUIRE CERTAIN DISCLOSURES TO BE INCLUDED IN A VEHICLE VALUE PROTECTION AGREEMENT; TO BRING FORWARD SECTIONS 83-52-1 THROUGH 83-52-15, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH RELATE TO GUARANTEED ASSET PROTECTION WAIVERS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF POSSIBLE AMENDMENT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
