Title: Maryland Transit Administration - Locally Operated Transit Systems - Study
Requiring the Maryland Transit Administration to study the locally operated transit systems throughout the State; requiring the study to include certain information regarding cost shares, ridership, and historical cost increases; requiring the Administration to identify best practices for funding and governance; and requiring the Administration to submit a report of its findings and recommendations to the Governor and certain committees of the General Assembly by December 1, 2026.
