AN ACT concerning taxation; relating to property tax; decreasing the rate of ad valorem tax imposed by a school district; relating to sales tax; discontinuing certain exemptions; imposing sales tax on certain sales of lottery tickets; relating to excise tax; imposing a privilege tax on all sports wagers at a rate of 2% of the amount wagered; creating the property tax relief fund and providing for transfers therefrom to the state school district finance fund; creating the sports wagering privilege tax refund fund; amending K.S.A. 2025 Supp. 72-5142, 79-3606 and 79-3620 and repealing the existing sections.
