Summary

AN ACT concerning gambling and gaming; relating to lottery and gambling prize winnings; requiring the department of administration to report identifying information of persons who claim prize winnings in excess of $5,000 to the department of health and environment to verify if individuals with such winnings are receiving medical assistance under medicaid or related programs; amending K.S.A. 2024 Supp. 39-709 and repealing the existing section.
