A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 1A of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding early care and learning, so as to provide for a grant program to expand access to child care and preschool programs; to provide that the Department of Early Care and Learning shall establish grant criteria; to provide for such department to establish grant amounts; to provide for grant purposes; to provide for a grant condition; to provide for technical assistance; to provide for the promulgation of rules and regulations; to provide for definitions; to provide legislative findings and purpose; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
