Title: Public Health, Department of; establish an Infant Wellness Resource hotline service

Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 2A of Title 31 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Department of Public Health generally, so as to establish an Infant Wellness Resource hotline service; to provide for the development and dissemination of materials promoting such hotline service; to provide for the development and implementation of training for staff of such hotline service; to provide for the Department of Administrative Services to select healthcare professionals to deliver healthcare services via telehealth through such hotline service; to provide certain persons participating in the activities of such hotline service with immunity from civil and criminal liability; to authorize rules and regulations; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
