Summary

The bill requires a transportation broker to contract with at least 5 transportation providers to provide nonemergency transportation services to medicaid members. A transportation provider must meet certain requirements before providing transportation services. The bill requires that medicaid members be able to preapprove nonemergency medical transportation services and choose a preferred transportation provider to receive nonemergency transportation services through.
