California - Session 2025-2026
Title: Prohibited restraints on competition.
Existing law prohibits certain restraints on business competition, including, but not limited to, a trust to increase the price of merchandise or prevent competition in manufacturing. This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would strengthen the state’s commitment to fair competition, protect the public fisc, and promote public trust in public contracting.
