California - Session 2025-2026
Title: Residential property insurance.
Existing law generally regulates classes of insurance, including residential fire and property insurance. Existing law requires an insurer whose insured has made a claim under a residential fire or property insurance policy due to corrosive soils to provide written notice to the insured regarding the applicable statute of limitation for the claim at least 30 days before the statute of limitation expires. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
