Elected as a Democrat to the One Hundred Fifteenth and to the three succeeding Congresses. Served until his death on November 28, 2022 (January 3, 2017-November 28, 2022), died on November 28, 2022, in Richmond, Va. Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Richmond, Va.
