S. , Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Ind. , 1983. Performance engineer, Warrick Power Plant, Southern Indiana Gas and Electric Co. , 1985-1994. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Fourth and to the five succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1995-January 3, 2007). Unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Tenth Congress in 2006. Unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the One Hundred Nineteenth Congress in 2024.
