Montana state auditor, 2017-2020. Unsuccessful candidate for nomination to the One Hundred Fourteenth Congress in 2014. Unsuccessful candidate for election to the United States Senate in 2018. Elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Seventeenth and to the succeeding Congress (January 3, 2021-January 3, 2025). Was not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Nineteenth Congress in 2024.
