Appointed to the One Hundred Fifteenth Congress by the Governor of Oklahoma under the provisions of Oklahoma Statute, Section 26-12-101 (B) to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of United States Representative Jim Bridenstine, and elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Sixteenth and to the three succeeding Congresses (November 13, 2018-present).
